Skills and Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required
- 3 to 6 years of related experience required
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (SAP & Darwinbox)
- Proficient with payroll software
Duties/Responsibilities
- Run payroll in an efficient, accurate & timely manner.
- Maintaining and updating payroll information and resolving any discrepancies.
- Ensuring compliance by following policies and procedures.
- Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as required.
- Collate data from Business HR
- Supervise and direct the payroll team
- Direct payroll team’s workload to meet deadlines
- Administer benefit plans
- Review payroll policies and amend procedures when required
- Oversee the preparation of payroll-related documents
- Organize current employee data systems
- Monitor the accurate processing of new appointments, transfers, promotions, and FNF
- Maintain accurate account balances
- Performance management of payroll staff for growth within the team
- Arrange weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
- Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and support internal and external audits related as such
